At just over 70,000 sq. m, Emporia is one of the largest shopping centres in Scandinavia. The building is unique, standing out for the meticulous focus on details, bold colours and shapes, all of which have been thoughtfully composed for an experience far from the ordinary.

Emporia has a rooftop park with many surfaces covered by vegetation, interspaced with glass lanterns to let the light in. Even the parking garage, with its overlapping facade of glass panels in every colour of the rainbow is a work of art.

For the interior spaces, Fasadglas assisted with the store and display windows, escalators and railings made entirely of glass. Many would agree that the crown jewel at Emporia is the spectacular, floating spiral staircase with side panels of overlapping, emerald-green glass and leather-wrapped hand railings.

Emporia is the first shopping centre in Sweden to become BREAAM-certified.
