A new inner city environment is being developed and emerging as a model for sustainability and innovation. At what used to be an old industrial area, Ebbepark has been transformed into a stylish, vibrant new city district with a great mix of residential property, office premises, restaurants, shops and more. There’s no need to travel elsewhere because everything you need or want for making life (and work) easier is right there. It’s a place that offers residents and entrepreneurs unique opportunities to thrive and develop together. The vision of openness and innovation is reflected in the architecture, which unites the outdoor spaces and encourages people to meet and engage with each other.
Fasadglas was involved in the construction of Buildings 1–3 and 5. At these buildings, there are business and office premises, conference rooms, café and gym. The project was run as a turnkey contract and the excellent collaboration between all of the parties involved was one of the key success factors.
Ebbepark is a palette, where essentially all of the disciplines of modern glass construction are represented: exterior and interior glass sections, windbreaks, windows and shutters, cantilever roofs, fire sections, railings, floor glass, conservatories, etc. We worked with a variety of profile systems from Schüco, Wicona och SAPA to meet the functional requirements on fire certification, low U-values, high airtightness and very low noise.

“The success factor was that we had an incredible team spirit, where everyone contributed with their very best and showed great commitment. It resulted in a special project, where we kept the schedule and delivered high quality. Björn on calculus did a fantastic job. Audrius and Ahmed worked hard with the design and succeeded well with the support and guidance of Johan. At the workplace, we had the best assemblers, led by Dan and Göran. The best team, it brings me happy tears when I think about them.”
