The new Porsche Center in Linköping was inaugurated early in 2022. It is 3,500 sq. m. and it was built according to Porsche’s new concept. Exclusive materials and exciting architecture in the pure spirit of Porsche give visitors an experience that is truly extraordinary. It was particularly fun to be part of the first project in Sweden where Porsche constructed a building according to its new concept.

Fasadglas supplied the roof lanterns, glass facade sections, wing catch sections with sliding doors, Alucobond panels and internal wall with LED screen and hidden attachment. The facade primarily consists of perforated panels that hide the windows from the outside and, together with the enormous glass roof (120 sq. m.), create a light, pleasant indoor environment.

For this project, the main challenge was designing, manufacturing and assembling the curved Alucobond panels that “hover” in front of the glass. The Alucobond panels were manufactured at our facility in Hultsfred.
