We’re proud to announce that Fasadglas has acquired a new industrial building in Hultsfred. Fasadglas is in an expansion phase and the new acquisition will enable higher production capacity in connection with the launch of the bARK Timber Facade System.
The size of the new facility is approximately 21,000 sq. m. and at present, it is predominantly used for manufacturing and warehouses. Fasadglas is expanding its operations in Hultsfred and will be moving into the new premises after the summer. It will also make Fasadglas one of the largest employers in Hultsfred.
Planning is currently underway to design a state-of-the-art production facility optimized for timber manufacturing. Timber is no random choice either. It is an investment in solutions that will significantly reduce the carbon footprint. And, because the products are locally produced, there are other advantages like shorter transport distances and higher delivery reliability.
The demand for our new bARK Timber Facade System has exceeded our expectations and it will be used in several major facade projects already this year. The investment paves the way for achieving our goal of becoming the most climate-positive company in our niche in Scandinavia. It will also generate many new jobs in Hultsfred.
