The major renovation and extension of Väla Centrum during 2011-2012 enabled this to become one of the region’s largest shopping centres, with more than 200 stores, restaurants and cafes.

Fasadglas was involved in many aspects of the project, include delivery of three Lightwall roof lanterns, a system that involves gluing the glass to the steel frame. We also built the entrances, which have sections of stainless steel and facades of both concave and convex glass in a structure of curved stainless profiles that hang from tie rods. The curved glass section is clad with a glass roof that leans towards the building.
